About The Business Lounge

If you are looking for a ‘networking arena’ where you can sell your products or services The Business Lounge will most likely not be for you.

If you are looking for a networking arena where you can meet other business owners, CEO’s and director’s, and you enjoy great business discussion and debate, you like to learn from other peoples knowledge and experiences and wish to build business relationships that last, then most likely, The Business Lounge will be for you.

The Business Lounge is a think tank, a debating society and a club where business owners can share their expertise and knowledge, voice their opinions, relax, enjoy a few drinks and great food without the worry of being ‘sold to’ - though one should mention that although we frown upon business cards being produced at the table for quite often no reason at all, several million pounds worth of business has taken place between our members since our launch in April 2010.

In order to create an environment that enhances learning between peers we have specifically excluded life-coaches and some service providers.

Invitation is open only to Company Owners, Managing Directors, Directors, Chairpersons, and CEOs.

What we are NOT:
An unconnected mix of people
About lectures and egos: quantity over quality
Taking and giving nothing back
A networking group
About rules and regulations - except one…

The Business Lounge is governed by the ‘Chatham House Rule’

The Chatham House Rule is a principle that governs the confidentiality of the source of information received at a meeting. Since its refinement in 2002, the rule states:
